The Beginning of Willard's Cue Products, Inc.
James Willard established Willard’s Cue Products, a family operated business, in 1985 because of the lack of effective cue tip shapers. Willard’s Cue Products continues the tradition set forth by its founder by providing quality precision products for cue maintenance in both domestic and international markets.

Mr. Willard, an avid billiard player and precision machine shop owner, used his skills to develop a pocket-sized tool to shape and scuff the cue tip perfectly every time. Willard's Cue Tip Shapers are equipped with a built-in gauge to check for the proper radius of the tip. To Mr. Willard, a properly-shaped tip with chalk-holding ability was the key to top performance pool playing. Properly-shaped tips provide the correct striking of the cue ball without miscuing.

After the success of Willard’s Cue Tip Shaper, Mr. Willard used his creativity to develop a machine to replace the tip on cue sticks (the Tipper/Trimmer). This manual precision machine is easy to use so that even the most inexperienced person in a pool room can properly and quickly replace cue tips.
